Abstract: Project information collection and risk management method choice directly affect the effectiveness of risk management. On the basis of existing project risk management, this article  presents five channels to collect detailed information on the project from historical statistics, theory, project information and other internal and external sources. Based on several criteria for method choice, it advances a new proposal of constructing method system by combining several methods to achieve more scientific and effective followup risk management. According to postevaluation of risk management, the way to evaluate the methods after project risk management is proposed. Finally, the article, taking the actual risk management in the astronautics project for example, shows the process of information collection and method system establishment as a case of project risk management application.
