International social work, which aims at tackling global social issues, can offer useful reference for the development of social work in China while the latter, combined with the Belt and Road social work, can better solve social problems in the post-globalization era. The Belt and Road social work can give full play to the advantages of professionalism and practice, which will explore how to deal with the livelihood and loyalty and have great significance in forming global discourse system for Chinese social work. In terms of the agenda, the future focuses of the Belt and Road social work should be placed on poverty eradication, conflict prevention and cultural integration, to coordinate economic development with social governance, offer social work support for the Belt and Road Initiative and contribute Chinese wisdom to the development of international social work.
