Pathways for New Quality Productivity to Empower High-Quality Development of Service Efficiency in Social Work Stations

Abstract: In the new era, new quality productivity, as a core driving force for China’s high-quality development, plays a vital role in promoting the modernization of the national governance system and governance capacity. Social work stations, as a major institutional innovation within grassroots social governance, have become an important platform to meet the diverse needs of community residents. Through in-depth observations and interviews at X social work station in M City, this study reveals that the current service efficiency of social work station is hampered by several factors: a shortage of professional talent, insufficient technological innovation, inadequate financial support, and a limited awareness of the needs of service objects. In the new development phase of socialist modernization, it is essential to address the challenges surrounding service efficiency failures in social work stations through the lens of new quality productivity. To enhance the efficiency of social work stations,coordinated efforts should be made in several key areas: fostering technological innovation, cultivating professional talent, diversifying funding sources, and raising awareness of the needs of service users. Such efforts will be crucial for promoting the high-quality development of the service efficiency in social work stations.
