Abstract: With the rapid development of market economy, rural labor force in China massively flow to the city, which in turn forms a unique group in the rural areas, namely the leftbehind women. This paper will briefly introduce the existing problems of rural leftbehind women, which are poor living conditions, low social status and insufficient basic livelihood security, and them analyze the reasons of these phenomena from the perspective of dual social system, traditional ideas and rural women themselves. Based on the core values of social work, the construction of intervention path is executed in direct and indirect ways. In the end, taking as a case the specific implementation process of a 34 yearold rural woman’s life quality issues, it will present the application and function of social work methods.
