Abstract: Age policy for postponed retirement is closely related to the labor force. Based on the data of Chinese Labor-force Dynamics Survey (CLDS) in 2014, the identification of the retirement age policy and its influence factors were investigated. The results showed that the number for the retirement age policy was more than two times the number against it; secondly, there was a low identification among people born in the years of 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. In the aspect of labor force employability, education and occupation had an obvious impact on the retirement age policy and a not so obvious impact on income level; in terms of social cognition, well-being and subjective status had a significant impact on the retirement age policy. Apart from what was mentioned above, it also discusses the implementation modes for retirement age policy and offers related suggestions.
