A Study on the Path for University Students' Volunteer Service Based on the Concept of Lifelong Education

Abstract: Lifelong education is a new educational concept born in the second half of the 20th century. It has the characteristics of education in a lifelong process, in varied forms, with close link to society. With the idea of lifelong education, the effective combination of volunteer service and moral education among college students has become an effective way and an important embodiment of personal lifelong education for college students. This paper explores the construction path of embedding volunteer service into lifelong education system, improving the legal and policy guarantee of volunteer service, strengthening the construction of community colleges, and stimulating volunteers' inner motivation etc.
