Abstract: For a long time, Social work has been guided by Western theoretical paradigms and operational methods since it was introduced into China. As a result, its level of localization is in a relatively weak stage. Therefore,establishing the theory and methods to sinicize social work become the basic theme of Chinese social work community and even the entire Chinese social science community. During the period of the Republic of China,a large number of scholars threw themselves into the practice of theory and investigation to sinicize social work,which made an excellent academic achievements to pave the way for the development of academic subjectand the construction of academic discourse ofcurrent Chinese social work. The enlightenment of social work sinicizationin Republic of China means that we should base on our "traditional resources" and focus on the actual needs of the development of the times to provide the paradigm, value orientation and method for the theoretical consciousness and practical application in the sinicization of social work.
