    YANG Hezhi
    SOCIAL WORK AND MANAGEMENT, 2018, 18 (4): 18-27.
    Abstract    HTML ( ) PDF (695KB) ( 2188 )
Social work has the indigenous character and historical character. The development of social work in China must be rooted in the native place and fully respect history. Looking back on the history of our social work for a hundred years, we can find that the practice of social work led by the Communist Party of China starts with the creation of the Jinggangshan revolutionary road. Based on the specific social and historical conditions and historical tasks, The Communist Party of China launched a series of social transformation and social change in the period of Jinggangshan revolution, involving the value concept, functions and methods, which, to a certain extent, contains elements of professional social work, highlighting the indigenous orientation of social work wisdom. The social work wisdom contained in Jinggangshan revolutionary practice is mainly reflected in the following aspects:1) value concept:solving all problems of the masses based on demand of the masses; inspiring people's awareness and cultivating their ability to act; 2) function integration:meeting the basic needs of the masses to achieve remedial functions; reconstructing social relations to achieve preventive functions; carrying out social transformation to achieve developmental functions; 3) methods:entering the community smoothly with the help of local leaders, understanding the needs of the masses by thorough investigations; arousing mass participation through mass mobilization; using mass discourse to achieve effective communication. Jinggangshan revolution road is not only a great opening and classic of Marx doctrine in China, but also a logical starting point for us to examine the history of social work under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.

    Li Xuehui
    SOCIAL WORK AND MANAGEMENT, 2018, 18 (4): 34-39.
    Abstract    HTML ( ) PDF (637KB) ( 2594 )
Children diagnosed with autism will bring stress to the families, and the effects are sustained and far-reaching. Autistic children bring mental pressure and role stress to their parents, and further affect the relationship between husband and wife, parent-child relationship, and sibling relationship. The family coping strategy can be executed from two aspects:internally, adjustment of the relationship between husband and wife, adaption of expectations for the children, re-planning family division within the family; and externally, families can seek social support, doing policy advocacy or seeking organization. Based on the above analysis, a framework is built to understand the influence to families, which is also useful for social work in the practical work process.

    TANG Yong
    SOCIAL WORK AND MANAGEMENT, 2018, 18 (4): 46-53,74.
    Abstract    HTML ( ) PDF (1118KB) ( 2540 )
With the aging of the population, the normalization of cancer incidence and the future trend in medicalization of death, the place of death will gradually transfer from family to hospital, which further highlights the importance of hospice care. However, due to NIMBY protest and insufficient trust, hospice care facilities face difficulties in construction. What's more, there is lack of policy support for hospice care service, which further limits its development in China. From the perspective of medical social work, current hospice care in China faces many problems:firstly, the demand for hospice care can't be met simply by relying on medical departments and civil affairs administration departments. Policies from single departments can't be relied for gratifying the need for hospice care. In view of its importance, we should discuss about hospice care from the perspective of social governance. It is necessary to vigorously set up policies about hospice care, confront the limit of traditional ideas and promote new method of birth and death. Government should lead the development of hospice care and combine macro-mechanism with microscopic practice. Meanwhile, the cooperation among multiple disciplines should be adopted for the development of hospice care.

Based on the data of Shanghai Urban Neighborhood Survey conducted in Shanghai in 2015, this paper explores the influence of neighborhood committee work and owners' committees work on community identification from the perspective of community multiple governance. The results show that the community identification will be higher if the community's neighborhood committee plays a better role. If community owners' committee can operate normally and other owners can participate in the work of the community, the community identification will be higher. If the relationship between the neighborhood committee and the owners' committee is better, the residents' community identification will be higher. Further studies have shown that the relationship between neighborhood committee and owners' committee has a stronger impact on community identification in communities where the capabilities of neighborhood committees are weaker. Therefore, the urban community workers need to effectively stimulate the enthusiasm of the owners' committee and promote the harmonious relationship development between the owners' committee and the neighborhood committee.
