On High-quality Advanced Development of Social Work in China

Abstract: After 30 years of construction and experience accumulation, China's social work, in the face of urgent need to participate in solving major social problems, will move towards high-quality advanced development. High-quality development is a kind of connotative development while advanced development is the transition of social work profession to a higher level of structure and function, and it is a process in which the social work gains further development as a whole. It mainly includes:the development of social work knowledge and theoretical system, the improvement of the quality of social worker team and the further improvement of their ability to deal with complex problems, the establishment of social work practice mode in line with China's reality and the establishment of social work system.
