Optimization of Public Service and Management in Metropolitan Suburban Districts against the Background of New Urbanization: Taking Guangzhou as an Example

Abstract:  The key of new urbanization is people’s urbanization, which is the integration of rural population into the place of their employment and sharing the equal public service with local urban residents. Suburban districts are located in the ruralurban fringe zone, and the dualistic population structure makes it difficult to govern suburban society. Suburban districts have already become living specimens which reflect transformation and development of Chinese society. Multiple engagements are the necessary choice to optimize suburban districts’ public service and management against the background of new urbanization.
