Analysis of the Localization of Social Work in Republic of China

Abstract:

Localization of social work is an unavoidable topic in the development of social work in developing countries. Since the introduction of social workin the period of the Republic of China, the pace of localization has never stopped, thanks to the concerted efforts of all sectors of society. This paper tries to explore the deficiency ofthe localization of social work in the period of the Republic of China, and discusses the experience and contribution for thelocalization of social work from social work organizations, the Republic of China National Government, and universities. It argues that cooperation of the three parts formsa gold triangle of social administration, practice and scientific research,jointly promoting the social work localization in the Republic of China.
