Review and Prospect of Researches on the Disabled in China during the 12th Five-Year Plan Period

Abstract:

This paper reviewed and summarized the relevant researches of the disabled people in China in the period of'12thFive-Year Plan' period from the following aspects: journal articles, academic monographs, research projects and academic carriers. And it analyzed the development trend of study on disability from the five aspects，namely the transformation of the research values, the development and evolvement of paradigm on quantitative research method, extension and enrichment of research content of the field, microcosmic development and specification of the research perspective, exploration and practice on the mode of discipline construction and personnel training. On this basis, it put forward the future research field of disabled people in China, which includes the well-off, poverty, housing, education for the disabled and theoretical system for the disability.
