Abstract: After China's official accession to Washington Accord, engineering education accreditation will make an impact on the cultivation mode of engineering talents in colleges and universities for a long period of time. Moral education plays a significant role in the quality of engineering talents cultivation, which has unequivocal regulations and requirements in the accreditation indicator system. However, the cardinal constraints on the quality and effectiveness of moral education for engineering talents turn to be the weakening of subjectivity, lacking practice, inadequate monitoring on effectiveness and low degree of socialization. Hence, we should build a security system from the perspectives of thoughts, organizations, and institutions, effect of course and other aspects, to advance a subjective, whole-member, practical and socialized moral education. This will finally enhance the quality of moral education to bolster the engineering talents cultivation.

Key words: engineering education accreditation, quality of moral education, security system
