Path Optimization in Ideological and Political Education in the New-Media Environment: Based on the Empirical Research in Guangdong Universities

Abstract: In order to take the initiative to occupy the internet arena in ideological and political education of college students, we need to grasp the basic situation and typical features of the application of new media among college students. Through a survey of new media application among Guangdong college students, we find that there are some misconceptions in the use of new media, information dissemination and information screening. This investigation helps workers in ideological and political education to accurately know the impact of new media on college students' thoughts and from the aspects of subject, platform and content provides some specific path optimization measures for college ideological and political education in the context of new media, and improve the effects of ideological and political education.
