Abstract

Abstract: Social work ethics is an important topic in the field of international social work. According to the in-depth interviews of 5 social service agencies in Beijing, it was found that, influenced by the factors like the multiple subjects involved in the social service system, limited welfare resources, structure of social trust featuring interpersonal trust and the welfare culture tradition in our country, social workers, in the localization of social work practice, are faced with a series of ethical dilemmas such as "whether a person with poor moral integrity is worthy of assistance. What kind of relationship should be established between social workers and their clients? Whether they are responsible for clients, agencies, or governments? What are the professional standards?" To promote the localization of social work ethics, it is necessary to improve the professional level of social workers, increase the training of ethics education, strengthen the ethical responsibility of social service agencies and refine the code of ethics.
