    Abstract    HTML ( ) PDF (845KB) ( 2317 )
The elderly who move from the countryside to cities to live with their children will experience the process of social inclusion. The present study adopts the qualitative research method to conduct a semi-structured interview with 23 elderly immigrants in Community J of Suzhou. We examine the social inclusion of the elderly migrants from four dimensions:economic participation, cultural acquisition, social adaptation and psychological integration. We find that the elderly migrants are weak in terms of cultural acquisition, attainment of social network and self-efficacy. Confronted with the structural dilemma in the social inclusion of the elderly migrants, we propose the following suggestions based on the theory of social capital. First of all, we should make effort to cultivate their personal social capital and consolidate the foundation status of family support. Second, we need to create an atmosphere of trust and build a mutual supportive relationship network in communities. Third, we try to innovate the way of culture acquisition and establish the standards of local community organization. Last but not least, we need to call for the cultivation of community organizations and build a platform for continuous community participation for the residents.

Construction of Community Square Dance Team and Its Governance Structure and Regulations: A Case Study of Square Dance Team in S Community in Shanghai
    YANG Jun
    SOCIAL WORK AND MANAGEMENT, 2018, 18 (6): 66-73.
    Abstract    HTML ( ) PDF (673KB) ( 2231 )
The existing square dance research pays too much attention to its social functions and life meaning, but ignored the team governance regulations, governance structure and organizational form. Based on a case study of a square dance team in S community in Shanghai, this paper, from the perspective of self-organization, explores the governance structure and regulations of square dance teams, focuses on the management structure and rules of the square-dance team, and deeply analyzes the internal operation logic and interpersonal interaction strategies of the square dance with the aim to construct an organized life form. Because of the spontaneous agglomeration of the square dance, the blurring of the boundary, and unclear statement of regulations, such organizations have to rely on able people to form internal management order to promote the stable development of the organization itself. The organization has satisfied the needs of belonging of the square dance group, and has formed two kinds of governance structures:the inner circle interaction and the friend seeking individual interaction. The square dance team makes full use of the non-institutionalized resources to reintegrate the relations, resources and rules. It is not only the process of constructing the social network, but also the social basis for the formation of the organized life form.

A Research on the Anti-poverty Policies from the Perspective of Developmentalism: The Case of Singapore
    QI Di, WANG Huaqi
    SOCIAL WORK AND MANAGEMENT, 2018, 18 (6): 74-79.
    Abstract    HTML ( ) PDF (640KB) ( 2228 )
Keynesianism emphasizes the responsibilities of the government while Neo-liberalism stresses the status of market as liability subject. But they both failed to address the problem of poverty. Developmentalism, which emerged in the 1970s, emphasizes the multiparty co-governance, pays attention to mobilize the initiative of multiple liability subjects to participate in poverty reduction, and lays stress on empowerment of poverty groups and their active employment in anti-poverty policies, encourages the poor families to accumulate wealth, and highlight the economic and social features of poverty reduction. A series of anti-poverty measures from Singapore reflects the idea of poverty reduction from the developmentalist perspective. Taking Singapore as a case, this paper introduces its anti-poverty policies in a detailed way and summarizes the developmentalist anti-poverty idea and strategies, offering a reference for targeted poverty alleviation.

    WANG Mingliang, LIU Sanlin
    SOCIAL WORK AND MANAGEMENT, 2018, 18 (6): 80-84.
    Abstract    HTML ( ) PDF (725KB) ( 2111 )
With a purpose of discussing the process and conditions for in-service training to achieve the balance of benefits between labor and capital, this paper analyzes the complexity of gaming between labor and capital in in-service training, and offers an asymmetric evolutionary game model for the labor and capital in in-service training. Combined with the realities of China, it also conducts an analysis of the evolutionary path and conditions for its realization. Whether the gaming between labor and capital in in-service training can reach the expected scenario of "investment from enterprises and cooperation from employees", it is related with the optimization and co-integration of three key elements, which are effective penalty on "uncooperative" behaviors from the employees after the completion of in-service training, the proportion of income distribution between the labor and capital and maintenance cost for the employment relationship.

Feasibility Analysis for Celebrity Endorsements of P2P Financial Platform from the Perspective of Game Theory
YANG Lu, ZHANG Chengke, JIANG Jun, ZHU Huainian
    SOCIAL WORK AND MANAGEMENT, 2018, 18 (6): 85-90.
    Abstract    HTML ( ) PDF (629KB) ( 2237 )
With the development of internet technology, wealth management methods abound, including P2P financing platform. At the beginning such platforms choose celebrity endorsements to promote popularity. But when the financing platform is in trouble, it will not only bring social chaos, but also reputation damage and property loss to the celebrities. In this paper, we analyze the expected return rate and the equilibrium of Bayesian Nash of each participant with the application of incomplete information static game theory. According to the research, when certain conditions are met, the celebrities will speak for P2P financing platforms regardless of high or low risk. When the P2P financing platform is at a high risk, the earnings of celebrities and platforms are significantly lower than those with low risk, so both sides will increase their profits by reducing the risk. It can provide some references for celebrities, P2P financing platforms and government decision-making.
