Abstract: After many years of fighting against poverty, the poor population in the west of China has dropped significantly and the quality of people's lives has been improved. But the development of rural area in western China is still far behind other regions; and the problem of poverty is still grim. It is still a big challenge to build a moderately prosperous society in China. On the issue of rural poverty in Chinese western region, rights poverty should be treated equal importance to material poverty. We should work together from the aspects of economy, ecology, human and society to promote the building of a people-oriented and sustainable development, while focusing on the development of community culture, promoting the integration of different internal and external groups to form a comprehensive development model, which can effectively cope with shaking off poverty in Chinese western villages.
