Abstract: Utilizing positive-psychology style group counseling, 40 disabled college students were selected and randomly divided into two groups. A comparative study was conducted between the experiment group (with positive psychological group counseling for a period of 2 months) and the control group (without intervention), with the purpose of improving the career adaptability of disabled students on campus. The result shows that there is a significant difference between the experiment and the control group in the level of career adaptability after group counseling, suggesting that group psychological counseling itself is feasible and effective for improving the situation. The core of building group motivation lies in the growth and continuation of the energy of the interaction between individuals and the environment inside and outside the group. The design of group program shall aim at achieving the unity of diversity.
