Abstract: Social work ethics is a type of ethics based on the relationship, which evolves from the value judgment of social work toward human autonomy, mutual subjectivity of interpersonal relationships, and vulnerability of social relations. It emphasizes self-interest and altruism, the responsibility and care of human beings, and the moral implication of the social system. The ethical practice of social work under the guidance of value integrates virtue ethics, care ethics and justice ethics, which is based on the relationship between social workers and service objects. Ethics changes accordingly with the changes in relationship. Amid the development of social work in a new relationship period, the relationship-based practice of social work ethics boasts unique significance.
