Research on the Professional Competences and Developmental Paths of Social Workers in Contemporary China

Abstract:

Social workers in contemporary China should have ten kinds of professional competences including grasping theory, practical operation, learning and training, summarizing experience, writing report, linking resources, organizing and mobilizing, interpersonal communication, theatrical performance and mental accommodation, and propose three developmental paths of professional competences including resource integration, social work supervision and social workers as subject.
