Abstract: At present, there are still great differences in the definition, classification and positioning of community social organizations, which is easy to cause confusion in the understanding of community social organizations, and poses difficulty to an academic consensus. Based on the comparison and analysis of the concept of community social organization, this paper constructs the classification framework of community social organization from the target dimension of community social organization (self-altruism) and structural dimension (rational-natural). Community social organization is divided into the rights of community-like community organizations, community new social organizations, sports and entertainment community social organizations, volunteer community social organizations and other four types of ideals. This paper discusses the causes, behavioral logic, function and representative types of the four kinds of community social organizations, and aiming at the development path of community social organizations, then, proposing the classification of governance based on heterogeneity and type conversion on the basis of homogeneity.
