A Study on the Development of Social Organizations to obtain Social Support

Abstract: Social support refers to the emotional, material and informational help that relatives, neighbors, the public and social organizations provide to vulnerable groups, whose purpose is to improve the basic living conditions of vulnerable groups, and promote their development. For a long time,social organizations play the principal role in the social support, however, influenced by development stage of social organizations in China, compared with the government and enterprises, the social organizations belong to "vulnerable organizations", so it also need social support. As support targets with organizations, their main supporters include the government, enterprises, media, the public and other social organizations. Without any doubt, the social support of social organizations needs a strong cultural atmosphere, the perfect supporting system and varied supporting networks.
